Clarendon
Northside Social, 3211 Wilson Blvd., 703-465-0145, is a coffee and wine house on Wilson Boulevard. It is open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and serves Saturday and Sunday brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the earliest weekend start on this list. It is full service, and its site says no reservations are needed.
The Liberty Tavern, 3195 Wilson Blvd., 703-465-9360, serves brunch Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Smaller tables choose between an unlimited brunch and an a la carte menu; parties of eight or more are asked to order the unlimited brunch, and last seating for the unlimited small plates is 2 p.m.
Lyon Hall, 3100 N. Washington Blvd., 703-741-7636, near the Clarendon Metro station, serves brunch Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with indoor and outdoor full-service dining.
Circa at Clarendon, 3010 Clarendon Blvd., 703-522-3010, a bistro with a corner patio, opens at 11 a.m. every day and lists a brunch menu with dishes such as a brunch burger topped with a sunny side up egg. Call to check which days brunch is served.
Rosslyn and Courthouse
Barley Mac, 1600 Wilson Blvd., 571-800-3070, a few blocks from the Rosslyn Metro station, serves brunch Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. It offers “make your own mimosas,” with a bottle and two flavors brought to the table, and takes brunch reservations.
Ireland’s Four Courts, 2051 Wilson Blvd., 703-525-3600, an Irish pub in Courthouse, serves weekend brunch, including a traditional Irish breakfast with bangers, rashers and black and white pudding. It does not usually take reservations, but the pub says it will put you on the waitlist if you call 20 minutes before you arrive.
Crystal City
Freddie’s Beach Bar & Restaurant, 555 23rd St. S., 703-685-0555, has an all-you-can-eat buffet brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, with a drink and dessert included. It also holds a drag brunch at noon on the last Saturday of each month. Its weekend brunch menu is also generally available during brunch.
