Last checked Oct. 19, 2026. This page is updated each year at the same address. Facts come from each shopping center’s and market’s own website, linked below, and from Arlington County’s holiday schedule. We list hours only as each center publishes them, and no prices or deals.
Black Friday is Friday, Nov. 27, 2026, and Small Business Saturday is Nov. 28. Arlington’s two malls are Ballston Quarter and the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City, and the main shopping streets are in Clarendon, Rosslyn, Shirlington and National Landing. Neither mall had posted holiday hours on Oct. 19; we will add them when they do. The Friday after Thanksgiving is a county holiday, so parking meters are not enforced. For traffic or parking problems, call police non-emergency at 703-558-2222.

Cherrydale Holiday Market is in its fifth year. The entrance is on Nelly Custis Drive, and there is free street parking on Lorcom Lane and Nelly Custis Drive, the market’s map page says.
Rosslyn’s market brings small-business vendors from around the region; the Rosslyn BID lists them on its vendor page. It opens a month of Rosslyn Cheer events, including the tree lighting on Dec. 3.
Ballston Holiday Market, formerly the Singing Tree Market, has local makers, handcrafted gifts and live choral performances, the Ballston BID says. Vendor details are still to come.
Washington-Liberty High School’s Holiday Bazaar is a long-running school fundraiser with dozens of artisans in the cafeteria and student food tables that take cash only. The PTSA’s page still shows the 2025 bazaar, which was Saturday, Dec. 6; the 2026 date is not out yet.

Small Business Saturday and shop-local rewards
Small Business Saturday is Nov. 28. Two of Arlington’s business districts pay you back for shopping local:

- Rosslyn: through December, shoppers earn 5% in rewards at participating Rosslyn restaurants and businesses, the Rosslyn BID says.
Parking and getting there
- Meters are not enforced on county holidays, which include Thanksgiving and the Friday after, according to the county’s holiday schedule. All other parking violations are enforced, and residential permit parking stays in effect unless a sign says otherwise.
- Watch for temporary “no parking” signs around special events, the county says.
- Bus, Metro and bike routes to each shopping district are on our getting around Arlington guide.
